Questions
Do I have to pay every month?
No. You pay once. The only ongoing cost is your domain, about $10.46 a year, paid directly to the registrar. Monthly plans exist if you want me to handle changes for you, but nobody's pushed into one.
Who owns the website?
You do. The domain is in your name. On Starter, I host the site for free on my account and you can have your files any time. On the other packages, hosting is set up in your name too.
What if the site isn't my style?
Say so on the call. Tell me what you'd change, and I redo it within 1 to 2 business days, before you pay anything. You can be picky. That's the point.
What if I don't love it?
Then you don't pay the second half. Walk away, or keep the files as-is for $50.
How long does it take?
Your site is ready for our call. Changes take 1 to 2 business days. Most sites are live within a week.
Can I update it myself?
Things that change often, like your hours, live on your Google Business Profile, which you can update from your phone. For anything else, changes are free for 30 days, then $50 each, or covered by a monthly plan.
What if I don't have a logo or good photos?
That's fine. I'll set your business name in a clean style, and photos from your phone usually work well. If you want real photos of your business, I work with a local photographer at $150 a session, no markup.
How do I pay?
Zelle or check, with a written invoice for every payment. Card by request, with the card fee added.
Do you build online stores or booking systems?
No. I build simple sites that don't need constant updating. If you need to sell online, Square or Shopify is a better fit.
