What's SEO?
It stands for search engine optimization. In plain English: making sure Google can find your business and show it to people who are looking.
What it is
When someone types "plumber near me" into Google, Google decides which businesses to show. SEO is everything that helps it pick you: a website that clearly says what you do and where, a Google Business Profile that's filled out, reviews, and your business info matching everywhere it appears online.
There's a technical side (how your site is built) and an ongoing side (reviews, updates, listings). I handle the technical side for free on every site. The ongoing side is optional.

For a local business, this is how strangers become customers. They don't know your name. They search for what they need, and they call whoever shows up with a good listing and a decent website.

What to realistically expect
Google usually takes a few weeks to a few months to pick up a new site and start showing it. The first thing you'll notice is more calls, website clicks, and direction requests from your Google listing, and your listing shows you those numbers so you can see it yourself. How high you show up depends on how many competitors you have and how good their listings are. Nobody can promise a spot on page one, and I won't.
The technical basics are included free in every site: page titles and descriptions, a page for each main service, your business info tagged so Google reads it, fast loading on phones, and a sitemap. The local search setup goes further for $200, and the Managed plan keeps it going month to month.
