Your web address. The thing people type in, like yourbusiness.com.
What it is
A domain is the name of your spot on the internet. You rent it by the year from a company called a registrar, and as long as you keep paying, it's yours. It's registered in your name, not mine, so nobody can ever hold it hostage.
How it helps your business
It's how customers find you, what goes on your truck and your cards, and what makes an email like you@yourbusiness.com possible.
What to realistically expect
A .com costs $10.46 a year at Cloudflare, the registrar I use, and the price is the same every year. Some other endings cost more, so I steer people to .com. The renewal comes out of your card, not mine, so it's always yours.
